Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1/3 cup toasted pine nuts OR 1 cup toasted walnuts
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • pinch of red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Instructions

In a food processor, puree basil, nuts, garlic, red pepper flakes, and salt until combined.

Gradually add olive oil and parmesan cheese until well combined.

Keep adding salt to taste.
